Mataku secara ketat mengawasi layar monitor komputer dihadapanku, mencari-cari tiket kereta api ekonomi tujuan Yogyakarta, and I got it ;)
Only IDR 100K untuk perjalanan PP: Jakarta - Yogya - Jakarta, very cheap rite? ^_^

and I call this journey is Bday Getaway.. ^_^
Yeup.. It was my bday when I did this trip, hehehe.. ^_^
and also solo backpacker again, after long time..

Day 01 
Stasiun Senen & Kereta Ekonomi Progo
(07/03)

Waktu sudah menunjukkan pk. 21 malam saat aku melangkah keluar dari Halte TransJakarta Senen. Dari situ kulangkahkan kaki menuju Stasiun Senen yang berjarak sekitar 300 m. Beberapa kernet bus yang ngetem di pinggir jalan memanggil manggilku dan menawarkan jasa busnya, tapi aku terus berjalan.

Setelah kurang dari 10 menit jalan kaki, aku tiba di depan Stasiun Senen. Hm.. stasiun ini sudah mengalami banyak sekali perubahan. Tampilan gedungnya lebih bagus, modern, bersih, dan rapih. Jauh berbeda dengan tampilan Stasiun Senen yang dahulu.

As I said before, I will show you how to visit Bogor Botanic Garden from Jakarta, by a very cheap public transportation. It is Commuter Line (train).

Commuter Line or CL is mass public transportation that connecting Jakarta with suburb areas such as Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, Serpong, and Tangerang.

To visit Bogor Botanic Garden, we have to use CL route Jakarta - Bogor or Jatinegara - Bogor.

The ticket price for CL is very cheap. For example, from Jakarta - Bogor only IDR 11K with refundable deposit IDR 5K. So the ticket from Jakarta - Bogor actually is only IDR 6K, very cheap rite? :)

Inside of Bogor Botanic Garden

It's weekend and you are confused where to spend it?
Bogor Botanic Garden can be the place to spend your holiday.. Fresh air and green views everywhere, can make your soul be more calm and healthier.. :)

Bogor Botanic Garden or (in Indonesian language: Kebun Raya Bogor) is one of seven famous botanic gardens in the world. It has 87 ha. and filled by more than 15.000 kinds of plants. Bogor Botanic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in Asia.

Bogor Botanic Garden also known as the house of Rafflesia Patma (Bunga Bangkai -  Rafflesia Arnoldi's family).

What we can do in this botanic garden? A LOT!
You can play, sport (running, riding bycicle, skateboard, yoga, etc), hunting pictures, relaxation, studying, picnic, etc..

In this place, you can see many gardens. These gardens are designed by unique themes, such as Palm Garden (it means that this garden is full with many kind of palm trees), Bamboo Garden, etc.

Weekend Getaway - White Crater (Ciwidey)

Due to busy work & rainy season (that made me hibernate at my cozy room) & lazy (this is the true reason.. :p), finally I am blogging againn.. (^__^)

If you live in Jakarta, and want to spend your weekend, why don't you try to visit Ciwidey, Bandung?

Ciwidey or known as Kawah Putih (White Crater), is one of the best scenery that you can see in West Java.
(FYI, Ciwidey is the name of an area in south of Bandung City, West Java Province, Indonesia. It has some tourist attractions. One of those tourist attractions is Kawah Putih (White Crater). In common, when people said that they want to go to Ciwidey, others will assume that they will go to Kawah Putih (White Crater). For more info about White Crater, please check wikipedia).

But.. it is a big NO! if you want to go to Ciwidey during rainy season. Why? here is my story.. ;)

My journey to White Crater - Ciwidey, has planned since many many weeks ago, but accomplished on Saturday, December 12, 2014 (now you see.. how long that I took to write this article.. :p). This is my 2nd times to visit this place.

That day was a shiny day when three of us left Kampung Rambutan Bus Station. It was around 08.30 AM when the bus was entering the highway.
(Note: You can take a bus to Bandung from bus stations in Jakarta. There are some bus stations, such as Kampung Rambutan, Lebak Bulus, Pulo Gadung, and Rawamangun, that provide buses to Bandung.
Or you can take travel bus, such as Cipaganti, or train. It is all up to you).
